Pattern description from Last-Minute Knitted Gifts: “These leg warmers are cozy and soft and look great under a skirt. Part of the reason I am so happy with them is the yarn combination: a basic worsted-weight merino, Cascade 220, that comes in a huge variety of colors, and a laceweight kid mohair-silk blend, Madil Kid Seta, that keeps the leg warmers from feeling itchy and gives the color more depth.”

Finished Measurements: One size fits all, will stretch to fit up to 15” (38 cm) around. Circumference about 8” (20.5 cm) around (unstretched), and 26” (66 cm) long.

Yarn:

  • Cascade Yarns Cascade 220 (100% wool; 220 yards [201 meters] / 100 grams): #9326 light blue, 2 skeins.
  • Madil Kid Seta (70% kid mohair, 30% silk; 230 yards [210 meters] / 25 grams): #425 blue bell, 2 skeins.

Needles: One 12” (30-cm) circular needle size US 8 (5 mm). Change needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions: Yarn needle, scissors, stitch marker.

Yarn is held doubled throughout.
