Super Easy Winter Headband
These are great to use as a cowl or a winter headband! You can even make 2 and having a matching set. I originally made it as a headband, and put it over my head, under my hair, and before I pulled it up, I looked in the mirror and realized it stood up great and would also work as a quick cowl/smoke ring! If you use a ww yarn, make sure the width goes from the front of your hairline to about the back of the top of your head, if you want to use it as a cowl. Maybe trying 2 strands of ww.
The boucle is a little heavier and stiffer than Homespun, so there is a note in the pattern about additional stitches for Homepsun or similar yarn. Homespun or similar yarn is softer against the skin, though, as boucle is a tad scratchy feeling. On the other hand, the boucle is warmer because it is so thick.
