A very quick pattern, knit in the round, on size 15 US (10 mm) circular needles and using bulky yarn.

The lace pattern will automatically give you a wave or scallop look, adding to the beauty of the design. I stretched it out over my mannequin, so that you can see the design, since the yarn is dark.

You will cast on and join into a circle, with out twisting the stitches on your needle. Follow the simple lace pattern to the end and bind off.

When you are done, you only need to hide your ends and block your cowl. No seams are needed.

I used less than one skein of Brown Sheep Lanaloft Bulky yarn from my stash for this pattern. But, any Bulky weight yarn should work. Yardage used for my cowl was 114 yards.
