Super Quick Shorts
THIS IS NOT A COMPLETE PATTERN - This is an example of how a given all-over stitch pattern can be used to make a pair of shorts. This pattern is for experienced crocheters and those who are interested in creating a crocheted garment without using a gauge swatch, without fixed measurements or precise patterns. This is for the free-former and pattern modder.
Quick House Shorts (or Why I don’t make a gauge swatch)
Work in the round begins at the waist then down over the hips, then the crotch is done in rows. Fasten off, then work in the round for one leg. Fasten off, then the other leg. Fasten off.
Waistband is worked next, all around. Fasten off. Belt is crocheted separately. 5 belt loops are crocheted separately then sewn onto the waistband.
