Gauge is not important for this pattern. Its more important for you to chain the width to work for you. The patterns gives a chain and stitch count but is super easy to adapt!!

This is written as an adult scarf but easily adapted for a child or even a baby blanket!

I haven’t specified yarn or hook as it will work for any yarn - use the recommended hook for your yarn - as an idea the general recommendations are -
double knit yarn - 4mm hook
Aran weight yarn - 5mm hook
Chunky yarn - 6mm hook
