Super Simple Handwarmers
Would you like to get into knitting but not sure where to start? Our Super Simple Handwarmers are a great first project! Or do you just have cold hands and need a quick and easy fix? Then these handwarmers are just what you need!
The pattern is designed as a great my-first-knitting-project, and suitable for beginners who have just learned to cast on, knit, purl, and bind off (and if not, YouTube is your new best friend!). Working through a few simple stitch types, all you need to do is knit a rectangle, then sew it on up leaving a hole for the thumb.
Make them for yourself, your family & your friends, and make them in one colour, or as many as you like!
Sizes: Child (Adult)
To Fit Hand: Approximately 14 18cm measured across knuckles.
Yarn: Any 8ply / DK weight yarn. We used Woolly 8ply (104m/50g), and you can use as many or as few colours as you like!
Quantity: 45g total in 1 or more colours
Needle: 4mm needles
Gauge: 22sts x 30rows to 10cm in stocking stitch (gauge is not too crucial for these)
Materials: Yarn needle for sewing up
