super simple headband
I created this basic pattern as a project that could be completed after the very first lesson for crochet beginners. It’s just a strip of single crochet worked flat back and forth for the length required to fit around the head. Nothing fancy but it would make a great earwarmer for chilly times if you used a bulkier yarn or a more delicate strip of crochet sweetness for a little girl in a thinner yarn. Just match your hook to that yarn as suggested on the label.
I mention sizing for an adult woman but it’s easy to adjust for a smaller head by trying it on for size as you go along.
You only need a small amount of yarn - way less than a 50g ball.
It’s best made from an acrylic, wool or blended yarn. Cotton has less stretch and might not work so well.
You can decorate it using the many sweet flower or other motif patterns here on Ravelry.
I wish you joy in your crochet journey.
