SOME NOTES
The cast-on on number needs to be divisible by 6. I used 180 stitches. This determines the circumference of the cowl. If you want a narrower or wider cowl you can adjust accordingly, just make sure your number is divisible by 6 and keep in mind this will change the amount of yarn you use. If you follow this pattern as written, you will use nearly all the yarn in the Pride Rainbow mini skein kit. Also, you can make the stripe narrower for a shorter cowl by knitting fewer rounds of each color or knit every inch of yarn and make a slightly taller cowl. It doesn’t really matter when you start the slip stitch pattern. You can just move the beginning of round marker to where you start round 1 of the SUPER SIMPLE SLIP STITCH pattern.
