Very easy beginner friendly simple pattern. Finished hat measurement is 18”. Very stretchy one size will fit most. Great for hand dyed color ways. The simple stockinette stitch shows off complex color ways. Any sock/fingering weight yarn will work. One 100 gram skein can make two beanies.

Size 2/2.75 mm needles 16” circular and shorter 9” cable or DPNs for decreases. 6 stitch markers one different to mark beginning of round and tapestry needle to weave in ends.

Only stitches you need to know are knit purl and knit two together
