OK, so this scarf isn’t a scarf, it’s a cowl, but I didn’t want to spoil the alliteration!
Anyway, this quick and simple knit is designed to use up multiple strands of thinner weight yarns to create a warm and squishy cowl. As written it uses 3 strands of lace weight, one of fingering weight and one of sport weight carried together to make a chunky-to-superchunky strand worked on large needles. You will need around 100 yards of each strand, more to make the cowl longer if preferred. This design is ideal for using up partial balls of lace weight or sock yarn left over from other projects, and colourwise you can be as coordinated or as wild as you like.

The sample cowl measures 7” across by 20” circumference.
