Super Summer Baby Blanket
My son (now an adult) is a June baby, and I remember how hard it was that first summer to regulate his temperature when it was hot outside but cool inside. So, when I designed this Super Summer Baby Blanket, I wanted to make it light and airy but still cozy. The new stitch I used created lots of tiny holes, which keeps the blanket perfect for warmer temperatures, without the big Afghan holes that little fingers can get tangled in.
Perfect for bedtime, nap time, playtime, tummy time, and every time in between! This no-frills blanket is versatile and pretty. Looks great in solids, stripes, and variegated yarn.
The finished blanket measures 30” x 40”. It uses light/dk weight yarn.
Skill level: Beginner/Intermediate.
