Super Ted
This is a pattern I quickly made up to honour a disabled child in my life. It was originally sold as part of a fundraiser for his wheelchair. However I’m now listing it as a free pattern now that it’s been a few years since the drive ended. Thank you to all that donated back then.
Hope you enjoy this simple pattern.
The photos might not be great but it’s also a few years old. Feel free to reach out if you need any help.
Materials needed:
1x ball of white dk in baby yarn
1x contrasting ball of dk baby yarn.
1 set of 12mm eyes in your choice of colour.
1 x 12, simple triangular safety nose in black/grey
3.5 mm hook. (please note my stitches are really tight. If yours are not and you can see the stuffing through the stitches, go down to a 3 mm or 2.5mm)
Stitch markers
Stuffing
Pins
Sewing needle. (I prefer a flat ended needle often used for leather work on sails. But you do you for this one. As long as it’s sharp and slides well.
1 cute animal button for the super hero logo on the chest. I’ve used duck and heart buttons in white and they work well. You can find these in the “baby button” section of most craft stores.
