Superb Fairywren Wrap
Superb Fairywren is a generous sized wrap. The repetitive stitch patterns are meditative and aim to capture the flighty characteristics of the wee bird this wrap takes its name from. Four colours of 4ply/fingering yarn are used to create a wrap that is not only enjoyable to knit but is a delight to wear; its generous size making it a wrap that invites snuggling into. Knit from end to end, decreases and increases are used to create angled ends.
Superb Fairywrens can be found along the eastern coast of Australia. The colouring of this shawl reflect the bright plumage of the males when in breeding.
