This is a PDF KNITTING PATTERN for a little soft Teddy crocheted in two differnt weights of yarn.
This pattern uses basic crochet stitches and few embroidery stitches for face are optional.
SKILL LEVEL- Intermediate: You need to know basic crochet stitches, how to increase and decrease. Stitching up the limbs and stuffing is involved. The facial features are embroidered and they need some special attention.
Small Size Bear (yellow on the pictures) finished height approximately 6 cm (2 1/2 inch) in sitting position.
Large Size Bear (brown on the pictures) finished height approximately 18 cm (7 inch) in standing position.
Materials For single bear: Small - About 5 g DMC Perle cotton no. 8 in Christmas gold (783) or dark brown (801) and 0.75 mm steel crochet hook.
Large - About 25 g (1 oz) wool yarn in 8 ply or DK / Light Worsted weight in Brown colour and 2 mm steel crochet hook.
Both Sizes: Soft toy stuffing – Preferably in matching color or darker, Optionals: Two small black beads for eyes, Short length of stranded cotton for nose and mouth, 3mm wide ribbon, Crewel needle size 8.
