The ultimate kindergarten sweater! With a short rows mouth across the stomach, this sweater is easily transformed into any favourite character. Use fresh colours in stripes and contrasts, embroidery with duplicate stitches and intarsia knitting to create your own unique version.

The sweater is knit bottom-up, arms knit separately. The body and arms are then joined together. The yoke is knit with raglan decreases.

I have added an attachment of diagrams to the pattern, which will help you design your own unique version of the sweater. The short row mouth in front is knit in contrast colour. There are diagrams of the mouth for each size, and you can then draw on your nose, eyes and other details.
