Pattern also includes option for spikes/ears on top of hat.

Supplies
Crochet Hooks:
5.0 mm Hook (H)
Darning Needle
Scissors
2 Buttons for fastening straps for larger cape
Felt for optional initial or letter, color of choice
Felt glue or sewing needle and thread

Yarn:
Any worsted medium 4 yarn will work. Red Heart Super Saver and Red Heart Soft was used in example photos.
Yardage: approx. 75 yards
Measurements:
Cape: Length= 9 inches, Width= 7 inches
Hat: Length= 5 inches, Width= 6 ½ inches
For the picture instruction examples, I used Color A-Red Heart Super Saver Black, Color B- Red Heart Super Saver Grey Heather, Color C- Red Heart Super Saver Perfect Pink

For Example on baby above: Color A-Red Heart Super Saver Light Blue, Color B-Red Heart Super saver Tea Leaf, Color C- Red Heart Super Saver White

ch- Chain
st- Stitch
sl st- Slip Stitch
sc- Single Crochet
hcd- Half Double Crochet
dc- Double Crochet
sc2tog- Single Crochet Two Together
dc2tog- Double Crochet Two Together
Fsc- Foundation Single Crochet
Skill Level:
Easy
Gauge in double crochet
4 x 4 inch swatch = 9 rows x 15 stitches

Change hook sizes if needed to meet gauge. Yarn can be substituted with a yarn of same weight. The beginning chain does not count as stitch. When joining rounds, join to the first dc and start next round in the same stitch.
