The stem takes about an hour to complete using worsted weight yarn. If you don’t have this chunky yarn on hand, you can hold strands of lighter weight thread together to get appropriate gauge. GAUGE:
Different size needles and yarn can be substituted. Gauge is not important for this
project so long as the yarn for the main berry portion is proportionally scaled to the stem portion (with appropriate needles selected.)

SKILLS:
Basic knitting technique, with simple increases, decreases, seaming. Detached chain stitch is used to embroider the optional seeds.
