This cabled jacket and sweater duo was designed for the #2504 Supersoft Aran brochure by Sirdar. Knit in pieces (jacket is worked as one piece from hem to armholes) then seamed, the drop-shoulder garments offer a choice of either a 2-tone pullover or buttoned jacket. The instructions are included for the textured cable pattern; no chart is needed.

TENSION

• 18 sts and 24 rows to 10cm/4in (sq) over stocking stitch AND
• 26 sts and 28 rows to 10cm/4in (sq) over cable pattern on 5mm needles or the size required to give correct tension..
  Check your tension - if less stitches use a thinner needle, if more use a thicker needle.
