Surf and Sand is a fun and easy beanie that will keep your head warm while combing the beach in the off season. The texture adds just enough wow to the hat without being overdone. When I sat down to design this hat I knew I wanted to use some wonderful hand-painted yarn. The texture in this hat really shows off the beauty of these yarns. Looks great in solid colors and self patterning yarns too.

This hat was formerly known as 5K hat. It received a complete makeover as of March 25, 2011. The makeover included better yarns, photos, a shorter brim, shorter overall hat length, and improved crown shaping.
