Surfinia Sunset Shawl is knitted in Fingering weight yarn on 4 mm needles which gives a very airy fabric.
First you knit a cast-on edge with a striped pattern in a contrast color. After that the shawl is knitted in a half circle starting in the middle of the cast-on edge.
The half circle begins with a multicolored rib section, then garter ridges in a contrast color and false cables in the main color, a larger section with garter stripes and crochet horizontal cables and finally ending with a Chevron border.
