I love spinning luxury fibres and the Suri blended with silk was certainly divine to spin. The resulting yarn is soft and has a wonderful sheen.

Materials
4.5mm 40cm (16”) circular needle (or size required to obtain gauge)
215m (250yds) of worsted weight yarn (approx. 12-14 wraps per inch)

If you haven’t spun Suri alpaca before there is a wealth of information in the Creative Fibre publication “Spinning Camelid Fibre” by Doe Arnot. More information of the Administration page at www.creativefibre.org.nz.
