I love to watch the way the different color patterns unfold in this simple pattern. The “SURPRISE” is in the way the variegated yarn reacts in this design! It is not planned pooling….it is more like SURPRISE pooling. I hope you enjoy the versatility of this little bag as much as I do!

Materials
• Size G crochet hook
• Worsted (medium) weight Cotton Yarn, Peaches & Crème used for samples (CA 2.5 oz solid color, CB 2 oz variegated). Optional: small amount of 3rd contrasting color for strap.
• Safety pin
• Stitch marker (safety pin can also be used for stitch marker if desired)
• Finishing needle
Gauge: First 10 rounds of pattern = 2” (measured from the center 1st rnd to the top of rnd 10)
Finished Size
• Body: 5” diameter x 7” tall
• Strap: 52” x 3/8”
