This pattern was originally published as the May 2013 pattern in the Twisted Sock Club.

“Surrender, Dorothy!” commanded the Wicked Witch of the West in the Wizard of Oz. Being a plucky girl from Kansas who already survived a massive tornado, Dorothy had no intention of surrendering. The main feature of these socks is the swirling tornado-like spiral across the top. It looks harder than it is, so go ahead and surrender to this project!
