A Sushi platter feast! For a quick stash busting project, on the menu today are sushi rolls and nigiri. Most pieces are worked flat (back and forth) on a pair of single pointed knitting needles, not in the round. The sushi roll fillings are i-cord tubes worked on two DPNs. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, these are knitted in acrylic DK yarns, and you only require a few grammes in each colour.

NEEDLES
A pair each of 4mm single pointed knitting needles and DPNs (US 6)

RECOMMENDED YARN
Sirdar Hayfield Bonus DK; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% acrylic; a few grammes in each colour

NOTIONS
Tapestry needle and a handful of toy filling to stuff the nigiri

SIZES
One size only - approximately 3cm tall.

TECHNIQUES
For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, and a little seaming to finish.
