hdc – half double crochet
inc – increase (2sc in 1 st)
dec – decrease (2 st together) (use invisible dec)
hdc-inc – half double crochet increase (2hdc in 1 st)
hdc-dec – half double crochet decrease (2 st together)
BLO – back loop only
.. x.. – repeat pattern inside stars for the number of times specified after the ‘x’
(..) – total number of stitches for the round
.. – total number of times to repeat round

This pattern is worked in continuous rounds.

You can use any colours for the centre of the roll; this pattern uses a salmon/avocado roll as an example.
