Susie Spaniel is an easy crochet pattern that is suitable for beginners. The pattern includes detailed written and photographic instructions and is very easy to follow. The toy is made with chunky chenille yarn and a 4mm hook although any yarn may be used so long as the hook size is adjusted accordingly. If using chunky chenille Susie Spaniel stands at approximately 24 cm when sitting and 36cm full length(with legs dangling).
If safety eyes and nose are used please be aware that this may not be suitable for under three years old, however, you could embroider the eyes and nose to make it safer.
