Suspended Leaves Shawl
CONSTRUCTION NOTES
This triangular shawl begins with a stockinette stitch tab which forms the center of the border. Border stitches are then repeated at the beginning and end of each row as you work your way from the top edge down to the tip of the triangle. The leaf-themed lace makes this the perfect accessory to wear on a cool fall day.
NEEDLES, NOTIONS, & YARN
I used one pair of US size 8 (5.0 mm) 36-inch circular needles. The shawl is worked flat—not in the round—but I used circular needles to accommodate its width. You may also want to use 2 stitch markers to put on either side of the center stitch, but this is optional. The yarn I used for each shawl pictured was two skeins (220 yards/100
grams per skein, 440 yards/200 grams per shawl) Cascade Superwash 220 in Summer Sky Heather and Aporto, but any soft worsted-weight yarn would be a fine substitute.
