Suspiria is an arrowhead shawl that I have created in two different versions. This shawl is the guest pattern for the Swiss yarn festival 2023, in which I am thrilled to participate. With this pattern, I wanted to create a simple but entertaining piece in which nothing is what it seems. This shawl has two versions that show you how the same pattern can have a completely different look if you play with your favourite colour palette.

Suggested yarn

I propose two versions of this shawl with two colour ranges: A) one more minimalist and B) another more playful and fun with a hand-dyed base by Francesco.

Version A) knitted in Merino Fingering by Musa Yarn, creates a colour-block effect that ends with a flowing part of mohair and silk. And version B) knitted in Merino Plus from Dark Omen, proposes a set of stripes to also end with a fluffy and soft part with the final trim in mohair and silk.

Suspiria es un chal de punta de flecha que he creado en dos versiones diferentes. Este chal es el patrón invitado del Swiss yarn festival 2023, en el que estoy encantada de participar. Con este patrón quise crear una pieza sencilla pero entretenida en la que nada es lo que parece. Este chal tiene dos versiones que te muestran cómo un mismo patrón puede tener un look completamente diferente si juegas con tu paleta de colores favorita.

Propongo dos versiones de este chal con dos gamas cromáticas: A) una más minimalista y B) otra más juguetona y divertida con una base teñida a mano por Francesco.

La versión A) tejida en Merino Fingering de Musa Yarn, crea un efecto de bloque de color que termina con una parte fluida de mohair y seda. Y la versión B) tejida en Merino Plus de Dark Omen propone un juego de rayas para terminar también con una parte esponjosa y suave con el ribete final en mohair y seda.

Al tratarse de un chal la tensión no es esencial, pero puede cambiar los requerimientos de lana si no se ajusta a ella.
