This shawl, designed for LYS Day 2021, uses a calm tonal contrasted with three vibrant colors to create a chatty shawl that can be thrown on and tied on the way out the door. Eyelet sections create a breezy feel while the solid sections show off the colors of our Mad Hatter line.

Yarn: Wonderland Yarns “Mad Hatter” sport weight, 100% superwash merino, 688 yards: 1, 4 oz skein (MC) & 4, 1 oz mini skeins (CC1-CC4). Shown in Chevron Strips Kit #1. “Kerfuffle” (MC) & bright minis (CC1-CC4).

Needles & Notions: US size 7/4.5mm needles, long enough to accommodate stitches (or size required to get gauge), US size 9 needle for binding off (optional), darning needle

Gauge: 17 sts & 28 rows = 4”/10 cm stockinette, after steaming/blocking

Measurements: 90”/229cm wingspan, measured across top edge; 16.5”/42cm at deepest point
