Hi everyone! This is Susu the Sea Dragon! Susu is a sleepy half-dragon, half-seahorse who loves to curl up on a sea-bed and sleep the day away! Susu loves to play with other sea-life friends! But don’t underestimate him; when Susu wakes up he’s still a dragon at heart and has a cute roar (he tries his hardest)! Susu’s name is inspired by the Japanese word for seahorse: Shīhōsu.

Susu is a step-by-step intermediate crochet pattern, available in PDF form on Etsy or on Ribblr. The pattern includes a picture guide and tips to make your project even better. This is one of my favourite patterns to make and I hope to see more Susus in the future.

Susu stands approximately 17cm tall and 11cm wide using the yarn advised in the pattern. But don’t worry if you don’t have the same yarn! You can use yarn and hook size of your choice for Susu!

I would happily recommend Susu to strong beginners too, who are experienced sewers. This pattern includes sewing, but the finished product is worth it!

I am a left-handed amigurumi designer but don’t worry if you’re not! This pattern has been tried and tested by both left and right handed crocheters!

Susu is only available in English for now and uses American crochet terminology.
