Svall shawl is an easy pattern, the result is beautiful though. “Svall” is a particular wave in Swedish, and the lace pattern is made with this kind of wave in mind. The shawl is knitted from one tip to the other side, making it possible to use as much or as little yarn as you want! The pattern is a four row repeat, so stopping isn’t difficult when you notice you are running out of yarn.

You can knit Svall shawl in any yarn and any gauge. The sample in the pattern was made in Nutiden pre-yarn, 100% wool. The result is very light, airy and warm. Try out a needle and a yarn that will make the pattern stand out, and that will make a fabric you like!

This is a free pattern, please send me a message if you find any errors or if something is difficult to understand!
