Sverre
«Sverre» is a hat / beanie with an interesting, repeated «rhombus - texture» pattern, of twisted stitches, increases and decreases.
A fingering weight wool yarn is recommended for this pattern, preferably a yarn with a fairly good stitch definition.
«Sverre» is knit in Jamieson´s Shetland Spindrift in some wonderful heathered colours, which works great with the textured pattern.
«Sverre» is knit top-down. You start at the top, and increase outwards.
You may knit this pattern using the magic-loop method, or; DPN´s, and then change to circular needles when the work is wide enough.
The instructions are for one size only, but the measurements can easily be altered by changing your gauge.
The pattern includes round-by-round, written instructions, as well as a chart for the main pattern.
