This unique design is perfect for any newborn or infant. It is as practical as a baby blanket and is as comfortable as a swaddle. This pattern is knit with an aran weight yarn and can be used all year long. As the child grows, all you need to do is remove the snap and you can use it as a blanket for many more years. You will need 420 yards of an aran weight yarn that can gauge at 4sts. per inch. It is shown with or without buttons. These are just decorative so they are optional. You will need one snap for a closure. The finished measurements are 20” x35” open as a blanket and 14” x 18” closed as a swaddle. This makes a great baby gift for your own child or a loved one. Perfect for a boy or girl.
