Every summer, it is my pleasure to make my own bag using a crochet hook. I am fascinated with TUBE with its unique texture and many pop colors, so I wanted to create my own design. And this year I used 2 strands of SASAWASHI FLAT to make and the result is so satisfying.
You use both a crochet hook and a circular needle to make this bag and it’s quite unique!

Yarn
5 skeins of TUBE from Daruma (100% nylon), approx. 37 m / 40.5 yards - 40 g
Sample used 176 g of TUBE, but keep in mind that yardage is an estimate.

OR

5 skeins of SASAWASHI FLAT from Daruma (100% kumazasa bamboo), approx. 78 m/ 85.5 yards - 25g
Two strands of yarn held together throughout.
Sample used 110 g of SASAWASHI FLAT, but keep in mind that yardage is an estimate.

Needles
5.0 mm/ JP8/0 crochet hook
8.0 mm / US11 80 or 100 cm / 32 or 40 inches circular needle

Gauge
13 sts and 15 rows = 10 cm / approx. 4 inches in single crochet on 5.0 mm/ JP8/0 crochet hook
13 sts and 15 rows = 10 cm / approx. 4 inches in stockinette stitch on 8.0 mm / US11 circular needle
Gauge is not crucial for this project, but the yardage will be different in different gauges.

カラフルでちょっと面白い質感の糸 DARUMA の TUBE で編むバッグです。かぎ針編みと棒針編みを使用し、底から編み始め、側面、フリル、持ち手の順に編み進めていきます。紐の長さを調整できるので肩掛けもハンドバッグのようにもアレンジできます。

Yarn
DARUMA TUBE ( ナイロン 100%, 40g/ 約 37m）５玉　
※サンプルは 176g 使用しているが、持ち手の長さなどにより使用量に違いがでる。

SASAWASHI FLAT ( ささ和紙 100%, 25g/ 約 78m) 5 玉 ; 2 本どりで編む。

8 号かぎ針 ×1
8mm 80cm( またはそれ以上の長さの ) 輪針 ×1
またはゲージが取れる太さの針

Gauge
8 号のかぎ針を使用し、細編みで 13 目 ×15 段 (10cm)
8mm の輪針を使用し、メリヤス編みで 13 目 ×15段 (10cm)
