This pattern was inspired by the ballet Swan Lake! The feather and fan stitch is used in way to create ripples like in the water and is lightweight even though it is a medium size shawl.

Color A – E: Holly Dye Works, 92 yards – 5 mini skeins (460 yards total), fingering weight. Colorway; Swan Lake Set.

Abbreviations:
k – knit
k2tog – knit 2 together
rs – right side
sm – slip marker
ssk – slip, slip, knit
st – stitch or stitches

yo – yarn over

Note on colorwork: I carry up my yarn on the side as to have less ends to worry about weaving in.

Gauge is absolutely not necessary for this shawl. Gauge is for stockinette after being blocked.
