Sway is a comfy two-colour cowl worked sideways in a tube that is grafted together into a loop. It combines colourwork with a bit of simple lacework texture. The cowl has laterally worked contrast colour I-cords separating the sections. The English pattern contains both charted and written instructions for the lace, colourwork is only charted. Finnish is only charted.

Jalovilla Vuona (100 % Finnish wool, 205 m / 50 g). Shown in colours Maasto (C1) and Tuhka (C2).

2 skeins of C1, 1 skein of C2.

Yardage:
440 yards / 400 meters of C1, 225 yards / 205 meters of C2.

Needle:
3,5 mm (US 4) - 16”/40 cm circular needle (or longer for magic loop). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the right gauge.

Gauge:
25 sts x 32 rnds = 4 x 4” / 10 x 10 cm in colourwork worked in the round (after blocking).
