A sweater vest is a fantastic layering piece!

This version was crocheted using Bulky yarn but as it is a made-to-measure pattern, it can be crocheted in any weight yarn and fiber! Acrylic makes for a super cosy and more sturdy make but a cotton yarn would give a lovely drape to your sweater vest and a whole different look altogether. The pattern explains how to crochet the right size for your needs.

The sweater vest is made from two granny squares. Once you have crocheted your squares, minimal sewing is involved to sew side and shoulder seams. The vest is finished off with an easy ribbed edge which can also be altered to suit your taste.

The pattern includes detailed explanations of all stitches and techniques involved, with photo AND video tutorials. There is no need to search for tutorials elsewhere!
