The sleeves are worked in stocking stitch, as is the first half (approximately) of the body. There are twelve rows of patterning at underarm level which form a ring of diamonds, and above that, both back and front, the stocking stitch is reversed.

Each version has a different set of recommended yarns. Those shown below are from the Patons issue. Patons Baby Pure Wool DK is not yet listed on Ravelry.
