Hello there! For your consideration is an easy-to-read crochet pattern to make this little amigurumi teddy bear. The finished bear shown measures 5.5 inches tall using a G Hook and Red Heart Super Saver yarn.

The stitches/techniques used are crocheting in the round, single crochet, increasing and decreasing. An invisible decrease is used in the pattern but if you are not comfortable with this stitch, you can just decrease the traditional way.

Yarn recommendations: Red Heart yarn in warm brown and turquoise blue but any worsted weight yarn could be used.

Hook recommendations: G hook was used in the bear shown but see “Gauge” below.

Gauge: Gauge is not important. Since everyone crochets differently, use a hook size necessary to achieve a tight enough stitch so that the stuffing will not show through.
