These patterns use Patons Grace yarn, and a size 3.25 mm hook. I do not recommend using other yarns unless they are quite fine. This yarn is a mercerized cotton and gives a finished look with a bit of a sheen.

It takes a few colours of yarn to make these clips, but not a lot of yarn.
