Make your own Sweet Cupcake Purse. This is a grown up version of the fun Kawaii food purses young girls love. This purse is oval on the bottom so that it will fit your favorite book or electronic e-reader or tablet device.

You will need 2 colors of worsted weight yarn and an I (5.5mm) hook and a J (6mm) hook. The bag is approximately 8-9 inches across at the base and 12 - 13 inches tall. Yours may turn out bigger or smaller depending on your tension

You will need to know how to single crochet, double crochet, front post double crochet and back post double crochet. Pattern contains pictures. There is a lot of great information online if you aren’t familiar with some of these stitches. Written in US terminology.
