Sweet Dreams Baby Blanket
“A lace blanket of magical motifs; an enchanted castle, stars to wish upon, fields of flowers.”
Center castle motif adapted from Barbara Walker’s Gingerbread Castle in her Second Treasury.
From the pattern in Interweave Knits: “Right before going to press, Crystal Palace was informed that the mill that manufactured Mimosa has closed… Please consider…substituting a fingering weight superwash wool.”
Photos of blanket knit in Elsbeth Lavold Silky Wool (7 skeins) by Spinsterrowe’s mother-in-law as a gift for her grand daughter.
Has also been knit with Patons Fairytale Fingering (acrylic) 6 skeins, Jamie Baby (acrylic) 12 oz.
