Instructions are given in four sizes, 0-3 months, 3-6 months, 6-9 months and 9-12 months. Each size requires 2 balls of yarn.
The rompers are knitted bottom up. The back and front are worked to the top of the leg openings as separate pieces and are joined to knit the body in one piece. The front and back are then worked separately to form the front and back bib sections. Once the side seam is stitched, stitches are picked up around the leg openings to work the leg borders. The rompers can be decorated by beaded knitting or finished with Swiss embroidery. Charts are provided for both Swiss embroidery and beading. Note - if you chose to use beads, you must thread the beads onto the yarn before you start knitting. This is suitable for a beginner.
