This adorable little baby bonnet with its vintage look and an elegant lace knitting stitch is knit in no time and matches the Sweet Hortense heartwarmer.

The pattern comes in 2 versions: one with a tiny picot around the crown and one with a touch of fun - a ruffle at the back. Ties are knitted I-cords or satin ribbons whatever the version.

Sweet H bonnet starts with a frilled edge around the face then the lace st pattern -flat knitting, ending with tiny picots or a ruffle before picking up stitches to knit the crown in garter st in the round. Lastly, neck edge and I-cords or satin rubban ties are attached to the bonnet. No seam excepted ribbons!

• Fingering yarn
• 2,5 and 3,5 mm (US 11/2 and US 4) needles - straight, circular and/or dpns (for the crown), 8 markers

Ce petit béguin avec son air rétro et son point dentelle délicat se tricote très vite et se coordonne avec le cache-coeur Sweet Hortense.

Le patron inclut deux versions : une simple avec un petit picot qui borde la calotte et une plus rigolote, avec un volant. Le béguin se ferme soit par des I-cords soit par un ruban de satin, quelle que soit la version choisie.

Sweet H bonnet commence par le tour de tête, en aller-retour, bordé au dernier rang par un picot ou par un volant ; la calotte se tricote en rond, après voir relevé des mailles. On termine par une bordure tout le long du cou et par les I-cords. Aucune couture, sauf les rubans !
