This listing is for an easy-to-follow digital PDF pattern showing how to crochet girl clothing (dress, bonnet, diaper cover, Mary Jane shoes) and boy clothing (shirt, shorts with suspenders, sun hat, and shoes), diaper bag with teddy bear applique, bottle, and teddy bear for the Sweet Handfuls Dolls (Pattern for Dolls sold separately -- see link above!!) This digital pattern includes: 31 pages, 175+ full color photos, English US crochet terms, detailed descriptions and instructions. BONUS included: 9-page TEXT ONLY PDF printable file, (to be used with guidance from the full pattern on a digital device), without using a ton of printer ink!! (Or if you like to print the full pattern for your “at home collection” (like I do!), the “text only” works great on your digital device when you are on the go!) Full crochet pattern in Spanish translation is also included as an additional pdf file.

This is an ADD ON pattern for the Sweet Handfuls Mini Baby Dolls. You will need to use the same size hook and yarn that you used when making your doll, along with a hook that is .5mm larger. If using size 2, fingering or super fine weight yarn (as shown in photos), you will use a 1.5mm hook and 2.0mm hook. (Or hook size consistent with what you previously used on your doll.) As with the dolls, you can use other size yarn / hooks, but consistency in sizes between dolls and clothing is necessary to achieve a good fit. I have noted in the pattern where I used yarn over (v-stitch) and yarn under (x-stitch.) This is a guideline intended to provide good shaping and stiffness for some items, and softness for clothing. It is not a requirement but may yield slightly different results.

Knowledge of these techniques will be helpful: magic ring, invisible decrease, invisible join, closing holes, crocheting across ends of rows, changing yarn colors, yarn under (x-stitch), yarn over (v-stitch)

Supplies needed for this project include:
Size 1.5mm and 2.0mm hook
Super fine weight yarn (for clothes and diaper bag) in your preferred colors (I used bright pink, light lime green, beige, white or off-white)
Super fine weight yarn (for teddy bear, bottle, and applique) in light brown, beige, white, light pink, black
Stitch markers or paper clips
Tapestry needle
Fiberfill stuffing
3mm safety eyes for teddy bear (or you can embroider them)
6 tiny buttons (6mm) for clothing (white)
1 medium button for diaper bag (your color choice)
1/8” white ribbon for bonnet and teddy bear
craft glue
