This set is SO sweet and adorable! The soft brim on the hat can be shaped and worn in many different ways… folded up, folded down, half folded up in front, half folded up in back… see last photo for a few examples. The shell cluster band in the middle adds character and lets air flow so the baby’s head doesn’t get too hot. The soft stretchy band on the booties helps them stay on without the need for a button or tie of any kind! The blanket is a car seat / lovey size blanket (with instructions to make it larger) with heart embellishments on the corners. This set was designed by me… I love hearts!

Instructions given for 0-3 months, 3-6 months, and 6-12 months, with tips on making additional sizing adjustments as well. 9 pattern pages total (3 for the hat, 3 for the booties, 3 for blanket).

Yarn Needed:
Hat: About 2 ounces of soft worsted weight yarn, 2 colors
Booties: Small amount of soft worsted weight yarn, 2 colors
Blanket: About 12 ounces (7-8 oz. main color, 3-4 oz. accent color)

Stitches and Techniques used:
• ch = chain
• slst = slip stitch
• st(s) = stitch(s)
• rnd(s) = round(s)
• sc = single crochet
• dc = double crochet
• hdc = half double crochet
• sc2tog = single crochet two stitches together (sc decrease)
• dc2tog, dc3tog = double crochet two or three stitches together (dc decreases)
• blo = crochet through the “back loop only”
• magic ring = technique for starting rounds (you can also chain and join to make a ring)
