I love peaches. They’re sweet, they come in all sorts of sizes, and that first, delicious bite is what marks the beginning of summer.

You know what else is sweet? Democracy. Elected officials who serve the interests of their constituents.

I wanted a hat that was simple, inclusive, quick to knit, and sends a clear message.

So here’s a sweet peach hat; make one to wear to a march. Make a whole bushel of them in fingering weight and donate them to the NICU.

Be a peach. Stand up for democracy.
