This pattern makes a beautiful cocoon for a new born baby of average size when worn all the way up. the cocoon can also be worn with the baby’s arms out until 3 months. the finished cocoon is 18 inches in length and 10 inches wide ( 20 around). I used a single strand of Crafter’s secret #4 worsted wight through out. using most of one skein for both the hat and the cocoon.
