The Sweet Luna Mitts are worked in the round with stranded knitting, using either long circular needles to work in Magic Loop or DPNs. Whatever way you prefer to knit in the round is up to you!

This pattern is recommended for knitters who have experience with basic mitten construction, stranded colorwork, knitting in the round, and reading charts.

Yarn
Approximately 116 yards/107 meters of fingering weight yarn for Main Color (MC)

Approximately 82 yards/75 meters of fingering weight yarn for Coordinating Color (CC)

Sample was knit using:
Malabrigo Sock in Polomo (MC) and Dirty Water Dyeworks Lillian in Pearl (CC)

Needles
US size 1 (2.25mm) Double Pointed Needles or circular needle OR size required to obtain gauge.

Finished Size
Approximately 7” (18 cm) in circumference and 8” (20 cm) In length after blocking.

Gauge
34 stitches and 36 rows = 4 inches (10 cm) in stranded pattern, knit in the round, and blocked.

Knitting to the correct gauge is important to achieve the finished measurements noted above. Adjusting gauge will alter the size of your mitts as well as yarn requirements.
