Sweet Magnolia
Sweet Magnolia… Spring is my favorite time of the year. There’s something just breathtakingly beautiful about trees that are covered in blossoms.
I adore magnolia trees, and I wanted to create a crochet pattern that didn’t involve sewing together individual petals, but I didn’t want to lose the dimensionality of the outer and inner layers of petals. This flower is constructed in three pieces: the outer petals, the inner petals, and the center. Once you get the hang of making the petals, it’s a very easy pattern to follow!
There are numerous photographs to help guide you through the process as well as a text only version at the end for printing purposes.
This is a beautiful, 3-dimensional flower that can be attached to headbands, hats, purses, cardigans… The possibilities are endless!
